About Me

Diane Almeter Jones (she/they) was long ago given the moniker “artist” at her farm-adjacent elementary school, aptly named Wales Woodchuck. Decades later, that creative spirit has expanded to include graphic design, mixed media, painting, filmmaking, producing, prop design, and set dressing for both theater and film.

A passionate mental health advocate, Diane’s creative toolbox also includes playwright, screenwriter, producer, union member, mentor, and community collaborator. Her work is rooted in

storytelling, connection, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and celebrated. Whether developing a film, building a theatrical world, or fostering creative partnerships, Diane is drawn to projects that highlight our shared humanity and the transformative power of the arts.
